It's an awful show with 90% awful writing.  They play on the simplicity of everyday Americans and laugh all the way to the bank.  It lacks any sort of substance. Even this scene, which made me laugh, is dumb.  It was funny for 1:51, but watching a full episode would make me want to gouge my eyes out.

I don't watch much South Park either, but I can tell you that it is a VASTLY superior show aimed at (marginally) educated humans.  Monkeys prefer Family Guy over South Park.

Family Guy is packed with so many jokes that most people do not grasp, it goes right over their head, me included.. on many of the jokes. You are lucky if you can catch over half the jokes in an episode and even still its very funny and entertaining.

How much have you even watched? How well do you know each character? The more you know them the funnier the little things are. I love stewie and every evil thing he does, I love the fact that the baby is the smartest in the family, followed by the dog and then wife.

The only thing i dont like about the show is the barber quartet angle that's always played. There are a bunch of jokes from like the 50's or some shit that I don't always get though
